My Target Student Needs Program - 983 Words

It is clear that all lessons were created to accommodate all my target student needs. She was provided with the opportunity to develop self-efficacy and encourage critical thinking. During the semester in creating my lessons for my class my main focus was to accommodate all students and ensured that all students’ are an active participant in the lesson. All activities and tasks provided equal opportunity for every student to participate. The students were ready and become excited about learning time. They were very intrigued and excited to use the clock manipulative. The enjoyed manipulating the clock by moving the hour and minute hand clues for their essay. I was happy for the support from my cooperating teacher during the instruction so I could focus on my target student by providing all necessary support to help her enhance her IEP goals (see lesson plan). During the instruction I used the various strategies to monitor my student such as verbally asking her to clarify understanding and higher order questions to get her involved and evaluate if I need to ret-teach at each step or move forward. This allowed me to identify directly which concept or skills my student needed help with before I move forward in the lesson. I ensured that I scaffold the lessons as well as the activities so that my students can make a connection and used prior knowledge. For example, skip counting by 5’s throughout all lessons. Martin Luther King and Malcolm X were pioneers in America’s Civil Rights Movement, with the goal of protecting and developing the black community. They wanted to achieve the same goal but, with very different approaches. While King was more of the â€Å"peaceful protesting† type, X was the â€Å"eye for an eye† type, in the beginning of his journey. Both of these men demanded respect and acquired it. Their wives Coretta Scott King and Betty Dean Sanders took over their legacies after their passing. Each of these men left a mark on society. With a powerful speaking presence The â€Å"I Have a Dream† and â€Å"The Chickens Come Home to Roost† speeches have prevailed throughout generations. The â€Å"I Have A Dream,† speech at first glance called for Negro rights. Based on the information provided in the readings for this week, a breakdown is provided as to an IT Department intermingles resources to get an end result. Recently, the operating system was updated at my place of employment. It sounded as if it should be an easy conversion, however, it was not. It took over a week to install the new operating system. Moving from one department to another, each area was brought online. This was a slow and tedious process as once the connecting software was installed, IT had to test various piece of information before allowing the departments access. Fortunately, Financial Aid was one of the departments listed as high priority to get online as soon as possible. This was a major conversion that is still affecting some reporting months later. The High Price of Higher Education In Americas society today, students are expected to follow the path of day care, grade school, middle school, high school and hopefully college. Growing up in America today, the importance of education is stressed starting at the earliest stages of development. In a world with a competitive job market and with citizens who want to make the most money that they can, a college education is key in success. For some students, financing college is not a problem. Money should not be a factor in the students decision-making process when choosing what school to attend, but unfortunately many people are unable to attend the university of their choice due to the high costs. HR team has to reach to its targeted customer after the preparation of the job description. This can be done via two ways i. e. internal and external sources. Internal sources include job posting, talent inventory, promotion and transfer. External sources include walk-in, advertisements, employee referrals, employment agencies, educational institutions, professional associations and job fairs. 1. 4 Assess the candidates After developing the pool of the interested candidates, next step is to assess the candidates. In specific job profile skills can be tested through on hand experience. 1. 5 Close the deal After assessing the candidates through rigorous process framed by the HR team, next step is to close the deal. Deal can be closed considering mutual benefits. 1. 6 Integrate the new comer After the deal is closed, the next step for the company is to integrate the new comer. This has to be done via assigning mentor for him/her. Immersion training can be provided to the new hires so that they can perform the job well and get used to of the new work environment. 1. 7 Audit and review Final stage in the recruitment and selection process is to audit and review the performance of the new comer and the decision of hiring him/her. This helps in future recruitment and also helps the new hire if he/ she need any help in his/her professional growth. Talent Management Talent management refers to the anticipation of required human capital for the organization at the time then planning and implementing the plan to meet those organizational aims and objectives. The main objectives of talent management are: Identify the gap between the talent required and the existing talent to meet organizational goals. Facilitate and support management to implement accurate hiring and promotion decisions. Develop the talent to face the transition period and the rapid changes that occur in today’s business world. Also helps in the promotion. Develop a succession and retention plan to sustain organizational excellence. Strategic perspective of talent management can be divided into various parts as described below. 1. Process: use people management processes to optimise development and deployment of talent. 2. Cultural: Managing talent in the organization has to come with a default belief that talent is most critical factor for success. 3. Competitive: Firm’s competition with external sources and the competition within the organization is one thing. If testosterone goes down, then the castration helps in reducing the aggressive behaviour. A person can genetically also be influenced with the inheritance of aggression from four fathers. This is the third factor of biological factors that got influence on the aggressive nature of a person and the upbringing the child is getting (Cherry, 2016). If the biological background of an individual is aggressive, then the risk or chance of increased aggressiveness in person would be more than other children. The fourth biological factor that contributes to the aggressive behavior of a person is the blood chemistry. This also relates to the environment in which the child is growing up. The conclusion of the research says that short-term exposure to violent media will increase the verbal and physically aggressive behaviour. Whereas the research also claims that frequent exposure of an individual to violent media will result in highly aggressive nature which includes physical assault and abuse to the spouse. The extremely violent criminal behaviour is not very common.
